If you spend hours listening to music while you’re at the PC, running Winamp will eat up space on the taskbar.Instead you can place Winamp in the system tray and free some space on the
taskbar for other applications. Here’s how you can do this:

After launching Winamp, press “CTRL+P” to bring up the “Preferences” dialog box.
Click on “General Preferences” in the left pane.
Under the “Show Winamp in:” section, uncheck “Taskbar” and check “System tray”.
Now close the dialog boxes for the changes to take effect.
