wordpress.org launches theme directory

Theme authors have been distributing themes on their own websites till now. But hopefully wordpress theme directory can become a centralized source of free Wordpress themes. So far it not many themes have been posted.But has lot of scope for theme designers.This directory is just like plugin directory,offering preview,statics,screen shots,comments,etc.

Authors are need to upload thems through a ZIP file.These themes will have to pass a manual review before going live on wordpress.org
